2014 kicked ass. Seriously, I got to travel all over the U.S. doing work I love. I hiked in many states and sought out adventures everywhere I went.
I learned to find extraordinary in the everyday mundane.
I made some leaps to face down some huge deep seeded fears. It took a lot to shine a light on my darkest parts. I haven’t made peace with them all but have taken them out of the dark and working on embracing and fixing them. I have grown immensely and let myself be challenged continually.
So here comes 2015. I’m not a resolution maker. By January I usually forget them anyway. However, I do designate a theme to each year. I’m declaring 2015 a year of new. This goes beyond adventures. I have a list of things I say I want to try, but never have the time or money. Some of those things…learn French, scuba diving, and belly dancing classes. Some are small things and some are big. So o declare this year to doing new things that enhance my being. I will stay open to new challenges, new experiences, and new opportunities. I see my life taking some twists and turns this year. Bring it on 2015!
