I’m still working on learning how to relax. Maybe I will add meditation to my to do list. I really want to know how, but it is kind of a chore for me.
I managed to finally get my new office/creative space set up this week. In addition, I booked two trips for some work. One in Los Angeles next week and then a trip to Chicago in February. I am eager to find some new adventures this year while traveling!
I have been looking at keeping my every day life from being mundane. There is truly adventure around every corner. I am studying French and I made an appointment with a personal trainer. I look forward to getting back into shape this year, and have determined that I need a little extra help in motivation and accountability.
I was super happy that the temperatures were in the 50’s and 60’s this week. I talked my son into going on a hike. It was met reluctantly at first because it would pull him away from his video games. I am guilty of letting him have a little much screen time while its been cold outside. I gave him an old camera and told him I wanted him to be a photographer. He got excited and we set out. We ran part of the trail and I realized just how out of shape I am and how fast he is. We stopped and played at the waterfall. It made my heart so happy to just sit still in the warm sun and watch him play. He truly is my heart.
We hiked and explored for a few hours. At the end, he asked, “Can we do this everyday?!” I succeeded! Now to find more adventure with my little sidekick….
